Spartan Race 2019 Venue Tee - Paul Ricard
I worked closely with the client to create venue tee design that relevant to the circuit but still stick with Spartan Race theme. The circuit inspired me to create a rugged feel graphic. Here are some elements that I used it as reference.
I'm still new in creating design on the tee. In this project, I used a lot of clipping masks & opacity masks. In the preview, the design was looking very good. The client loved it.

But during the processing phase from the factory side, I received their crucial comments like they faced difficulties on printing the artworks.
The issues are:
1. Too complicated when they want to break down to single color.
2. The artwork is raster image instead of vector file.
I had challenges on fixing these 2 issues because I only had limited resources to find out how to fix it. I noticed that the factory used silk screen printing on T-shirt. It requires Pantone color to do it. Hence, at the end of the result, it turns out 90% of the artwork is complete.
The center part shows circle. In my artwork didn't show that. It is because I used clipping mask on this part.
At the end of this project, I need to find the ways on how not to use clipping mask and opacity mask in the artwork. It is to prevent additional work form factory side.
